VISUAL ARTS AT VIPHS

A recent highlight for us is that VIP’s student filmmaker team has won top honors for two consecutive years at the “Making Movies That Matter” Youth Short Film Festival, sponsored by City Councilmember John Lee’s office. The visual arts hold a prominent place within VIP’s vibrant arts community. We offer exceptional instruction in 2-D media and fine arts, along with rigorous AP Studio Art courses. Our visual arts students frequently showcase their work in gallery exhibitions that coincide with performing arts events and schoolwide celebrations. Many of our graduates go on to attend prestigious art colleges and visual arts programs across the country.
